March Madness Challenger Edition: Part 3, Round 1 over!

Some gruesome combat occurred! Lucky rolls by some contestants helped them move on and even luckier rolls helped others survive a certain death. Also, Crowe makes the most boring combats ever. Read up on the winners and losers after the jump:

Astorath 0/0/0/0/Dead (Missed all but 1 attack even at 4+)
Sliscus 0/1/0/1/1 MOVES ON

Drazhar  3/Dead
Ghazghkull Thraka 3/MOVES ON (Managed to make 2 lucky 5++ invulns)

Castellan Crowe  0/0/0/1/0 MOVES ON (An amazingly boring combat)
Imotekh the Stormlord 0/0/0/0/0 Dead

Bloodthirster 4/MOVES ON
Prince Yriel 0/Dead (Bloodthirster rolled 4 hits, 2 6’s to wound and thus caused Instant Death twice on Yriel)

Orikan the Diviner 1/Dead
Grand Master Azrael 0/2/MOVES ON

Typhus 3/MOVES ON
Commisar Yarrick  0/Dead (A lucky roll of 6 for the Daemon weapon and an unlucky roll of 1 to come back certified victory for Typhus)

Eldrad Ulthran 2/1/0 Dead
Ku'Gath Plaguefather 0/0/1! MOVES ON (Ku’gath didn’t bother with psychic powers due to perils risk and luckily he only needed Eldrad to fail 1 save to die. He re-rolled all of them)

Skarbrand 3/1/MOVES ON
Lysander 2/Dead (Lysander came close, they both rolled very well but in the end the sheer number of 2+ to wound attacks of Skarbrand won out)

Swarmlord 4/MOVES ON
Abaddon 1/Dead (Abaddon failed every save in the first round, sad)

Kasarro Khan 0/0/Dead
Marneus Calgar 2/1/MOVES ON (No contest, Khan failed every invuln)

Belial 0/2/1/2/MOVES ON
Commander Farsight 0/1/0/1/Dead (Very close fight, more saves by Belial than Farsight was the only difference here)

Logan Grimnar 0/2/1/MOVES ON
The Sanguinor 0/1/0/Dead (AP3 really screwed Sanguinor)

Colonel Straken 1/1/Dead!
Pheonix Lord Asurmen 0/1/1 MOVES ON (Straken failed his Ld test for the second wound and died automatically, space elves too clever)

Avatar of Khaine 2/1/MOVES ON
Vulkan He'Stan 0/Dead (Vulkan failed all but 1 save. Poor baby)

Lucius the Eternal 3/MOVES ON
Kharn the Betrayer 0/Dead (Lucius is faster and a master duelist, GG)

Ragnar Blackmane 0/2/4 MOVES ON
Canis Wolfborn 1/0/4/Dead (an abysmal first round lead to a simultaneous death but the winner is always who did the most wounds and thus Blackmane wins 6-5)

Asdrubael Vect 0/0/1/2/3/MOVES ON
St. Celestine 0/0/0/Dead/Double Dead (Trip 1’s on Celestines saves in the final round re-killed her after her resurrection, “You’re dead! Now stay dead!”)

Sammael 1/0/0/1/1/MOVES ON
Aun'Va  0/0/0/0/0/Dead (The Grandmaster was unable to kill Aun’va. I didn’t even roll that poorly)

Mephiston 2/1/0/Dead
Draigo 0/1/1/MOVES ON (A hard fought fight! Mephiston passed all of his powers while Draigo passed nearly every single invuln save. His first wound should have killed Mephiston but Draigo failed his Force Weapon check! Draigo then finally resisted Mephiston’s gaze and Mephiston rolled poorly leading to one final Instant Death attack from Draigo to pull out the victory!)

So, later I'll make the mini-brackets and then after the winner of those are determined I'll make the Winner Bracket and the Resurrection Bracket. Stay tuned!
